(our latest steps): Priceless Moments
June 14, 2017
“God reigns above the nations, sitting on his holy throne.”
Psalms 47:8
If you’ve never been to the nation’s capitol here in the United States, it’s a ‘must see’! It’s such an
awesome experience to view all that Washington D.C. has to offer. From the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool, to the Smithsonian Museums that hold artifacts galore, it’s a trip that is certainly
breathtaking and unique. The children and staff had a fantastic trip this past week and took in all
that the nation’s capitol had to offer!
The Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool is
the largest in the country!
Yodit loved seeing all the sights!
Uncle Saul leads the children from Kenya in
prayer for the country.
Auntie Mimi and the team from Ethiopia pray
in their native language
The children from India take time to pray on the
steps of the Lincoln Memorial. What a beautiful thing
to witness and be a part of! The leaders of this country
need our prayers as they guide and direct our nation.
The team takes a moment for a priceless
photo together. Did you know that over
24 million visitors come to the National
Mall every year?
Melda and Seble stop to touch a piece of the moon
at the Smithsonian Air and Space museum.
Ladini is enamored with the amount of
information available to her!
“May the nations praise you, O God.
Yes, may all the nations praise you.”
Psalms 67:3
After our splendid time in Washington D.C., we traveled out to Michigan and shared some special
moments with our friends at Heritage Christian Reformed Church.
Pastor Art takes a moment during the concert
to share a book about how special we are to our
Heavenly Father. God loves us so much! We are all
precious in his sight!
So many are impacted by the words the children sing!
The team had a great day on the beaches
of Michigan!
Thari, from India soaks in the beauty!
Water + Sand + Sunshine = JOY!
Tigist celebrated her birthday surrounded
by all of the team. Uncle Steve and Auntie Mary
loved celebrating her!
Uncle Ethan also had a birthday this past week.
We are so thankful for all that he does for
His Little Feet!
Thankful for friendships made!
Lord, you are in all things! Thank you for your constant provision and your guiding hand as
we tour this beautiful country. We long to be your light in this dark world. Let us shine brightly
for YOU! We love you and give you all our praise. Amen
