Academics

The curriculum used at the His Little Feet Life Training Academy is called ACE. This individualized curriculum introduces children to concrete and abstract reasoning skills at appropriate age levels (Kindergarten through 6th grade.) ACE’s curriculum contains grade level vocabulary and concepts that move in a mastery-based format from simple to complex and from concrete to abstract.

This unique program consists of mastery-based curriculum and materials that are self-instructional, character building, and individually prescribed.

Whether the student is a high achiever, a moderately paced learner, or a slow learner, the ACE educational process begins at the exact level determined by the child’s ability. This is individualization, making it possible for each student to master the subject matter before moving on. Such mastery is the foundation upon which all future learning is built.

Currently, there are 200 ACE staff members provide training services, curriculum, and materials for an international network of 6,000 schools and thousands of home educators in over 140 countries.

At the start, middle and finish of each Life Training Academy school year (4 semesters), His Little Feet evaluates and formally assesses each student’s academic level, capabilities and success through online testing for the ACE curriculum, as well as through administering the “Iowa Test of Basic Skills”

In addition to their ongoing education in English, and equally important to their English curriculum, the other curriculum used in the His Little Feet Life Training Academy originates from the student’s country of origin, prescribed by the academic professionals overseeing the children’s study’s in their home country. The His Little Feet Life Training Academy esteems the ongoing education of the children in their native language and therefore structures time for “International School” to take place on a weekly basis, specifically taught by the international essential support staff that are assigned to travel with, chaperone, translate, direct and tutor the children throughout the entire time the children are in the Untied States.
